What we stock

We set out to offer the convenience of everyday groceries along with a range of products sourced from local suppliers - many of them selected at a village tasting event, held before the Shop opened.

Fresh bread

Our fresh bread comes in daily from Lawrances's Bakery in Evesham. We also stock longer-life brands such as Hovis. And fresh baguettes and French bread are delivered every Saturday morning.

Milk & dairy

Our milk and dairy products come from Cotteswold Dairy in Tewkesbury, one of the largest independent family dairies in the UK.

Free range eggs

Our eggs come from Billy's Woodland Eggs, a family-run business based in Gloucestershire. They supply delicious free-range woodland eggs from their farm in the heart of the Cotswold countryside.

Pork & meat pies

Our pork pies, meat pies and sausage rolls come from award-winning local supplier, The Outdoor Pig Company. They've won the Champion Pork Pie award at the British Pie Awards for three years in a row!

Croissants & pastries

Our croissants, pastries and fruit tarts come from La Parisienne bakery in Tewkesbury. They've been producing high quality, authentic French patisserie and bread for over 10 years.

Fresh fruit & veg

Our local fresh fruit & veg comes from Drinkwaters Farm based in Ebrington, a village on the Cotswolds escarpment above Bretforton. And when in season, we also stock local asparagus & Bretforton strawberries.

Smoked products

We have a range of delicately smoked products such as salmon, mackerel, duck, chicken & more. They come from Macneil's Smokehouse, an award-winning artisan producer just up the road in Droitwich.

Handmade cakes

Our mouthwatering range of handmade cakes and loaves comes from Sweet & Tasty Cakes in nearby Alcester.

Greetings cards

We have cards for all occasions at the Shop. Our range includes handpainted and photographic cards created by local residents, as well as everyday cards starting at just 99p.

Ready meals

We have a range of quick & easy to cook meals, including award-winning pies from The Fleece Inn, Bretforton's famous National Trust-owned pub.

Our honey couldn't be more local! It's made by bees born and bred in Bretforton.

Milled to produce top quality bread and bakes, our range of flour comes from Wessex Mill. It's milled using wheat grown locally around the mill. You'll find the names of the farms on the back of every bag,

Dressings & oils

We stock a range of cooking oils & dressings from Cotswold Gold. All their oil is grown, harvested, pressed and bottled in the Cotswolds. Perfect for all your culinary needs from salad dressings to frying.

Cheese

Our cheese comes from artisan cheese makers, Fowlers. The Fowler family has been developing the craft of cheese-making for over fourteen generations, now using Farmer Ted's milk from his Montbeliarde herd.
